Hi Cynthia. Yes, you will still experience the same benefits, but maybe to a lesser degree. However, consuming caffeine is a great way to increase fat loss regardless of whether you are fasted or not.

I am currently working on an article explaining the mechanisms behind this, but essentially consuming caffeine before exercise will increase fat oxidation and lipid mobilization.
