That's a really good question. It's a meta analysis, so it looked at 75 studies that had analysed the differences between the three types of exercise, with the average study length lasting 9.8 weeks.
I would think that fat loss would plateau, as it does with any exercise programme.
I am also unsure whether it would be advisable to continue this protocol long term. 2-3 sprint sessions a week is actually quite taxing on the body, and so I would think it would be good to cycle through maybe 6 week cycles. 6 weeks of this protocol and then 6 weeks of something else. This will also make sure your body doesn't adapt to it, because that would definitely lead to plateaus.
